Why move from Shotgun to Festejar

  1. 01

Buying without giving a date of birth

    Before, with Shotgun
Buying online needs a Shotgun account, with name, phone number, date of birth, postcode and password.[1]
    Now, with Festejar
Buyers pay on your website without signing up or creating a password.
  2. 02

Your buyers don’t get other people’s parties

    Before, with Shotgun
Shotgun’s recommendation engine suggests parties based on what each buyer has viewed, who they follow and what they have bought.[1]
    Now, with Festejar
They buy on your website, where only your parties are listed.
  3. 03

The money arrives without asking for transfers

    Before, with Shotgun
The balance arrives 24 hours after the party. Before that, only one free transfer per party.[1][2]
    Now, with Festejar
A few days after each purchase, every time, without asking.
  4. 04

    VAT already inside the fee

    Before, with Shotgun
Fees are invoiced from France without VAT, and the club has to self-assess it under the reverse-charge rule.[1]
    Now, with Festejar
    4% + €0.50 per order, VAT included.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Shotgun charge per ticket?

Shotgun does not publish its rates for organisers. According to its general terms, the fee is a percentage of the ticket price set in special terms, which may include a minimum amount, and buyers also pay variable service fees.

When does the club get paid with Shotgun?

According to its help centre, each party’s balance is transferred automatically 24 hours after it ends. Before that, the terms allow one free transfer per party, unless agreed otherwise.

Can I switch from Shotgun with parties already on sale?

Yes. Parties already on sale can finish on Shotgun while you publish new ones on your website with Festejar. Nothing has to close on the same day.

What about the people who find us through the Shotgun app?

The app can bring you new people, but it also shows them other organisers’ parties. Your regulars find you by name, on Instagram and through your promoters: if those links lead to your website, every purchase joins the club’s customer list.

See it with your own parties.

Already using a ticketing platform? Most clubs are. We set up the website with your real parties and, if you like it, help you switch between one party and the next.
