Festejar’s review of each venue’s website and ticket links. A platform only counts if the venue has its own sales page there; directories that list venues without selling for them do not. A venue that sells on two platforms counts for both, and duplicate listings count once. Resident Advisor is mainly listings and ticketing for electronic music clubs.
What to check before choosing a ticketing platform
- The total cost per order, including card fees
- Who pays the booking fee and who keeps it
- When the money reaches the club’s account
- Whether people buy on your website and your domain
- Whether buyers must create an account on the platform
- Promoters, guest lists, tables and passes in the same tool
- Minimum term and fixed fee

How we built the comparison
For each platform we only use its public pages: terms of contract, help centre and App Store listings. Every row in the table links to its source and shows the date it was checked.
If a figure is not public, we mark it as not published. Festejar is our product, and we say so on every page.
Frequently asked questions

Yes. With Festejar people buy on the club’s website, on your domain, and get their tickets by email, as a PDF and in the Wallet.
